The Black Warrior Ramblers are a group of multi-instrumental musicians from Central Alabama, near the Black Warrior River in Tuscaloosa County. The name Tuscaloosa is Choctaw for “Black Warrior”.
The Ramblers formed in Fall of 2025, with their first performance during intermission of a combined Tuscaloosa County High School band and choir concert held at the Moody Music Building at the University of Alabama.
While continuing to perform during TCHS music department concerts, the Black Warrior Ramblers also perform at festivals and for any other opportunities that arise.
